Awsard Province, June 24, 2026 (SPS) The work of the national symposium on upgrading national administration concluded today, after a series of presentations, interventions and extensive discussions in which specialists, executives and actors in the administrative field participated, with the aim of diagnosing the reality of desert administration and examining ways to develop it and increase its productivity to serve the citizen.
The symposium culminated in a final statement in which the participants affirmed that the human element remains the basic pillar and central axis of any reform project, as it is both the means and the end, and that the success of various administrative policies depends on the extent of the efficiency and qualifications of the human element.
The symposium recorded a number of structural challenges facing the national administration. Based on the objective diagnosis, the symposium participants formulated fundamental recommendations that were presented as a road map for the development of the national administration, the most prominent of which is the development of human resources and the development of a comprehensive national strategy that makes continuous training and qualification a permanent priority.
The statement concluded by emphasizing that implementing the recommendations issued by the symposium will directly contribute to raising the efficiency of administrative performance and improving the quality of public services in line with the requirements of the institutional building phase of the Sahrawi state.
