Prime Minister Hristijan Mickoski, who today leads a government delegation on a working visit to Turkey, called on Turkish companies to invest in Macedonia and become part of, as he said, its development story, reported MIA.
Addressing the North Macedonia-Turkey business forum in Istanbul, Mickoski emphasized that the two countries nurture traditionally friendly relations, which represent a solid basis for further deepening of economic cooperation.
– Macedonia and Turkey nurture traditionally friendly relations built on trust, respect and strong ties between peoples, and precisely those relations represent a solid basis for deepening economic cooperation and new investments – Mickoski said.
He emphasized that Macedonia today is positioned as a stable and competitive business destination, which offers favorable conditions for investment.
– Today, Macedonia is positioned as a stable and competitive business destination, with a strategic geographical position, a favorable investment climate, modern industrial zones and access to regional and European markets – said the Prime Minister.
According to him, Turkish companies can expand their presence and become part of European supply chains through investments in the country.
– By investing in Macedonia, Turkish companies get the opportunity to become part of European supply chains and expand their presence in wider markets. Our goal is to build long-term partnerships, which will create new jobs, greater economic growth and joint success – said Mickoski.
He sent a direct invitation to Turkish investors to recognize the opportunities offered by the country.
– I invited the Turkish investors to be part of the development story of Macedonia, a country that has a clear vision for the future, an open door for new investments and a strong determination for economic development – Mickoski wrote in the post after the forum.
The business forum in Istanbul is dedicated to the promotion of economic ties, trade exchange and investment cooperation between North Macedonia and Turkey, and it is attended by representatives of government institutions and business communities from both countries.
