MINSK, 11 June (BelTA) – Belarusian President Aleksandr Lukashenko appointed Belarusian ambassadors to two countries on 11 June, BelTA has learned.
Yevgeny Sobolevsky has been appointed Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of Belarus to the State of Libya (concurrently). He also heads the Belarusian diplomatic mission in Egypt, represents the country in Algeria, Oman, and Sudan, and serves as Belarus’ Permanent Representative to the League of Arab States.
Aleksandr Ogorodnikov, who serves as Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of Belarus to Uzbekistan, has also been appointed Ambassador to Afghanistan (concurrently).
