In Tetovo, a resident of the city was arrested today who tried to rob a catering establishment while drunk, and when he failed, he hit the waiter and injured him with the handle of a gun, the Ministry of Interior announced.
“Today at 16:00 on “Ilindenska” street in Tetovo, police officers deprived H.D. (22) from Tetovo of his freedom. During the examination, a gas pistol was found and confiscated from him, and after a breathalyzer test, it was determined that he was under the influence of alcohol, i.e. 1.35 ppm of alcohol in his blood were measured. Earlier, in the SVR Tetovo AI (38) from Tetovo reported that around 15:30 at his workplace in a catering facility H.D. committed a robbery attempt on him”, the police statement reads.
“According to the report, he entered the facility and demanded the employee A.I. to give him the money at gunpoint. After A.I. refused and told him to leave, a physical fight took place between them, during which he hit A.I. in the head area with the butt of the gun. After that, H.D. fled the place, but soon after measures were taken, he was found and deprived of his liberty. He was detained in the police station and after fully documenting the case, an appropriate report will be filed against him”, added the Ministry of the Interior.
