In the arrest of a 29-year-old woman, who is accused of removed valuable jewelry and sums of money from residences where she worked as a domestic helper, police officers from the Kifissia Crime Investigation and Prosecution Department of GADA proceeded.
In particular, the 29-year-old was arrested at noon on June 23 in Nea Erythrea, as an arrest warrant was pending against her for theft by profession and as a consequence.
According to EL.AS., in at least two cases the accused took advantage of the trust of her employers and her unhindered access to the residences where she worked, systematically removing, at least from December 2025,perfumes of great value and sums of money from houses in the areas of Athens and Kifissia.
As pointed out by the police, indicative of her methodology was that she requested and received a one-day leave from her work without, however, returning with the stolen goods in her possession.
The arrested woman was taken to the competent prosecutor.
