We remind you that the former head of the Belgrade police, Veselin Milić, was arrested together with 10 other people for the murders. Aleksandra Nešovića Baja in the restaurant “27” in Senjak May 12.
It is suspected that Nešović was shot by Saša Vuković aka Boske. Initially, it was suspected that the crime was committed in the presence of Milić and that he, together with three other police officers from his security, participated in removing traces of the crime. On June 3, VJT announced that the criminal charges against those three police officers were dismissedalso due to lack of evidence.
It is Milić heard for the first time May 15, on the day arrestswhen he presented his defense, and a day later he was sentenced to detention up to 30 days. He was questioned again On June 3, due to new evidence, the Higher Public Prosecutor’s Office announced.
It was previously carried out on May 29 search of Milić’s apartment and official premises, 14 days after the arrest.
After the second hearing, Milić’s defense attorney, Nemanja Vasiljević, submitted to the media a part of Milić’s alleged testimony in which the former Belgrade police chief accuses his colleagues of framing him and not presenting the evidence they provided in the criminal complaint to the prosecutor.
Nešović’s body it was found on May 21 in one barrel on the territory of the municipality of Inđijain the presence of public prosecutors of the Higher Public Prosecutor’s Office.
