Entrepreneurial competition: Al Akhawayn University of Ifrane (AUI) organized, on Saturday on its campus, the awards ceremony for its 9th entrepreneurial competition “Ventures Adventure”, generating a massive mobilization of mentors and institutional and private investors.
Supported by the AUI Employability and Entrepreneurship Office (EEO), this ceremony closes “Entrepreneurship Month”, a semester-long program designed to cultivate the entrepreneurial spirit of students by offering them practical experiences, support from experts, ideation workshops and startup creation challenges.
Beyond the individual prizes, a digital transformation pack including a domain name was offered to the finalists. All startups now benefit from two coworking spaces in Casablanca via AGO IT and privileged access to Technopark incubation programs.
Furthermore, the international dimension of the “Ventures Adventure” program was reaffirmed with appointment opportunities for summer schools in Washington DC, Waterloo, Naples and Dubai, providing students with unprecedented global exposure. Ahead of this awards ceremony, the students followed a rigorous preparation course including participation in workshops covering all the areas necessary for the development of an entrepreneurial project, namely “Thinking like an investor: simplified pricing and valuation”, “Legal bases for founders”, “Rapid prototyping with Claude AI”, “Pitch storytelling”, “Economic models” as well as “Intellectual property, patents and brand protection”.
