Two people were arrested on the highway Kaçanik-Hani i Elezit, one citizen of Albania and the other of North Macedonia, after during the control, 17 kilograms of marijuana-type narcotic substance worth 60,000 euros were found and seized.
Two phones, two ready-made cars and a notebook were also seized from the suspects.
The incident happened on Friday afternoon.
“Two male suspects have been arrested one citizen of Albania and the other a citizen of North Macedonia, as during the control they found and seized: suspected narcotic substance of the marijuana type with a total weight of about 17 kg and 834.6 grams worth about 60 thousand euros, a notebook, two telephones, two cars, cash worth about 1545 euros, 6500 lek, 5360 denars”, says the announcement of the Kosovo Police.
By decision of the prosecutor, after the interview, the suspects were taken into custody.
