Thousands of citizens have gathered in Tirana on the 21st day of the protest against the government of Edi Rama.
Participants from the diaspora have also joined the gathering, especially in support of the revolt that has been going on for days.
As in the previous days, the protest started with the gathering of citizens in “Skënderbej” square, to then move towards the Prime Minister’s Office, where speeches will be held. The demand of the protesters remains the resignation of the prime minister.
The presence of the diaspora in the protest is considered a message of solidarity and support for the protestors, showing that the echo of civic discontent has crossed the borders of the country and has also mobilized Albanians living abroad.
