The Minister of the Presidency of Portugal, António Leitão Amaro, highlighted the presence of the Brazilian community in the country during his participation in the Grand Conference of Diário de Notícias, this Monday, June 15th.
According to the minister, Brazilians are “an example of good integration” in Portugal. During a conversation on the conference stage, António Leitão Amaro also took the opportunity to deny that recent changes in the immigration panorama are causing an “exodus” of immigrants, in response to information that many of these citizens, especially Brazilians, are leaving the country.
