Macedonian representative goalkeeper Martin Tomovski received great recognition in Germany after being named Most Valuable Player (MVP) in the 2nd Bundesliga for the 2025/26 season.
The goalkeeper of Bittigheim has an outstanding season behind him, in which he was one of the most responsible for the club’s successful campaign to return to the German handball elite. Tomovski arrived in Württemberg before the start of the season from Potsdam, and immediately established himself as one of the team’s leaders.
With a series of excellent games, a significant number of interventions and a high level of consistency throughout the season, the Macedonian goalkeeper stood out as a key figure in Bittigheim’s lineup. His experience and reliability between the posts had a great impact on the team’s results, which managed to secure promotion to the strongest German handball competition.
The recognition of the most valuable player is another confirmation of Tomovski’s excellent form and his growing reputation on the German handball scene.
