A friendly soccer match between Denmark and Ukraine was stopped in the 62nd minute after Denmark’s Christian Eriksen collapsed on the pitch, causing great concern among the players, coach and fans.
The Danish football player suddenly fell on the grass during the match, after which the medical team immediately ran to the field to help him. There was silence and disbelief in the stadium as teammates formed a circle around Eriksen as they offered aid.

The scenes inevitably reminded the football world of the 2021 European Championship, when the Danish midfielder suffered a heart attack during the game against Finland and, after a dramatic battle with doctors, successfully recovered.
