The Parliament will meet twice next week, on Monday and Tuesday. At Monday’s meeting, the representatives will elect officials and members of four parliamentary investigation committees. Anikó Hallerné Nagy, the deputy speaker of the parliament from Tisza, told MTI after Thursday’s house committee meeting that a decision will be made on Monday on the election of the members and officials of the investigative committees that will investigate the abuses at the Magyar Nemzeti Bank, the spontaneous privatization and the loss of public assets, those responsible for the amnesty scandal, and the systemic crisis in child protection.
He also said that due to technical reasons, the vote on whether László Toroczkai, leader of the Mi Hazánk faction, should be the head of the parliamentary investigation committee investigating the abuses of the executors is being postponed. The latter in his answer to a speech at the parliament session on Monday was waved by Péter Magyar.
The parliament will also vote on the law amending proposal which would reduce the salaries of representatives. After that, there will be interpellations, then the parliament will debate and then vote on the amendments submitted to the bill dealing with the revision of the laws suspending lawsuits and executions against foreign currency borrowers.
There will also be immediate questions and questions on Monday, the session will end with speeches following the agenda. On Tuesday, they will discuss the abolition of the Office of Sovereignty Protection, the suppression of political advertisements capable of inciting hatred and ensuring that economic advertisements fit into the image of the settlement, as well as proposals to amend certain investment rules.
