An alleged emerging and prosperous drug trafficker was surprised and detained this Saturday afternoon in his home in the city of San Antonio, where initially the agents of the Anti-Narcotics Department of the Police found a kilo of crack in his possession. However, Rocky, the anti-drug dog, detected another shipment of 9 kilos and grams in the fuel tank of his truck.
The emerging alleged drug trafficker arrested He was identified as Gustavo Elvio Fleitas (35), with several prohibitions due to a punishable act of exposure to land traffic, who apparently was quickly positioning himself as one of the main distributors of drugs, cocaine base paste and crack in the Central department.

Precisely, the frenetic growth of his business, which in turn left the other wholesale suppliers of these prohibited substances behind, was probably what exposed him to the anti-drug authorities.

On Saturday afternoon, the uniformed officers raided the suspect’s home in the middle of construction, where a backpack was found in which there was a kilo of crack, which initially led to his arrest.
But when Rocky took action, his nose quickly directed him to the beige Volkswagen Amarok truck, with license plate ORMA 001, which was parked in the property’s yard.
At the insistence of the trained animal, the officers decided to take the vehicle to the base of the police unit, which is located in the city of Lambaré, where they thoroughly verified it.
A couple of screws loose
A couple of loose screws in the suspension and support system of the fuel tank gave the clues, so they lowered the fuel drum, inside which two other large packages were actually found.
One of the packages contained five loaves of cocaine base paste, with a total weight of 4 kilos and 100 grams. The other package had another five pressed crack loaves, with a total weight of 5 kilos and 300 grams. Both bales were vacuum packed to prevent them from being contaminated by fuel.
In total, the anti-drug agents found 10 kilos with 400 grams of drugs in the possession of Fleitas, who was detained by the Public Ministry, at the Anti-Narcotics base, as well as all evidence found in his possession.
