At a time when distance learning has raised many discussions about its impact on academic achievement and student levels, a number of outstanding students who achieved a 100% average in the general middle school certificate this year have proven that success is not related to the method of education as much as it is related to will, diligence, and discipline. In their conversations, they stressed that technology was a supportive tool in their educational journey, while hard work and perseverance remained the most important factor in achieving excellence, reviewing their experiences, future ambitions, and the challenges they faced during their studies.
Student Adam Yasser from Isa Town Preparatory School for Boys, who obtained a score of “100%,” says: I was very happy with the result, which warmed my heart a lot, after working hard and diligently in order to obtain a result that would make my family and teachers happy.
He added: “Although our exams were remote (online), we studied hard and diligently, and tried to benefit from technology, stressing that whatever the method of learning, whether in person or remotely, learning requires perseverance, diligence, and diligence.
Student Farah Ahmed Badr, who achieved a “100%” percentage, from Busaiteen Preparatory School for Girls, said: “Exams always require focus and diligence in obtaining knowledge, even if they are “remotely”, and I do not agree with those who say: The high success rates are due to distance learning (online), expressing her great happiness with this success, which she dedicates to her family who encouraged and supported her.
For his part, student Ali Mirza Ibrahim Saleh, who achieved “100%” from Awal Primary Preparatory School for Boys, expressed his joy by saying: “My joy is very great this year with the excellence that I dedicate to my beloved country, my family, and my teachers who helped me excel and succeed.”
He added: “I tried to work hard from the beginning of the school year. I used to study for two hours and take a break in between by entertaining myself, so as not to feel bored.
Ali Mirza praised the availability of “distance learning,” which gave students the opportunity to complete their studies easily, and allowed them to follow up with the teacher and study on a daily basis.
