A framework partnership agreement was signed on April 29 on the sidelines of the board of directors of the Moroccan Foundation for Financial Education (FMEF), by the Minister of Agriculture, Maritime Fisheries, Rural Development and Water and Forests, Ahmed El Bouari, and the wali of Bank Al-Maghrib and president of the Moroccan Foundation for Financial Education (FMEF), Abdellatif Jouahri. “As part of the implementation of the National Financial Inclusion Strategy (SNIF), which establishes financial education as a strategic lever to promote the economic and social inclusion of populations, particularly in rural areas, this framework partnership agreement aims to establish a structured framework of cooperation between the two institutions for the development and deployment of financial education programs adapted to the specificities of target populations, in particular farmers, professional agricultural organizations, young people and rural women,” indicates a press release from the Department of Financial Inclusion. agriculture.
And added: “In this context, particular attention will be paid to the training of trainers mobilized by the Department of Agriculture, with a view to sustainably integrating financial education into the ministry’s support and training systems and ensuring its progressive and structured dissemination for the benefit of final beneficiaries.” As the same source explains, the implementation of this agreement will be ensured through specific agreements and operational action plans, developed with the various entities concerned, in order to guarantee a lasting impact adapted to the realities on the ground.
