The head of the Asunción police station in whose jurisdiction an attack occurred by a Bolt driver against his passenger, which resulted in the death of the latter, gave an account of the events from the point of view of the intervening agents. The driver was arrested and charged with alleged intentional homicide and failure to render aid.
An alleged homicide event that shocked public opinion in Paraguay took place last Friday night in the Mburucuyá neighborhood of Assumptionwhen a transport platform driver bolt hit one of his passengers –identified as Arnaldo Grance Coronel– following an argument, which resulted in the passenger falling to the ground and suffering a fatal blow to the head.
The alleged attacker was identified as Christian Eduardo Narvaeza 37-year-old Argentine citizen, who is already detained.
In communication with ABC Cardinal this Monday, the Commissioner Lorenzo Vegahead of Police Station 12 in Asunción, in whose jurisdiction the crime occurred, gave an account of the events of that night from the police perspective.

The incident occurred at approximately 11:50 p.m. and the Police became aware of it through a report made through the 911 system. Agents from Police Station 12 went to the scene and found the victim without signs of life.
Argument over change would have caused the incident
The intervening agents spoke with the victim’s partner, who was also in Bolt’s vehicle and told the uniformed officers details about what happened, including that the alleged trigger of the incident was an argument related to the trip.

According to the woman, her partner had paid the driver with a 100,000 guaraní bill, but he had refused to give her the corresponding change.
Suspect, arrested and charged

The alleged aggressor He showed up a couple of hours later at Police Station 12. with the intention of making a complaint against the passenger, but he was detained when police officers verified that it would be the same person seen in a closed-circuit recording that shows the moment of the incident.

He Public Ministry charged Christian Narváez with the alleged crimes of intentional homicide and omission of help. A criminal judge of guarantees ordered the preventive detention of the suspect.
