Buuti Pedersenartist, has created a new exhibition, Anorersuarmi, which can be seen in the Bank of Greenland in Nuuk until the end of August.
In a press release, the bank writes that the exhibition’s 19 works can be seen on two floors.
Anorersuarmi revolves around life against the wind, both as a person and as a society.
– Through her works, she colors a time when changes are evident and where we are all affected by the movements that happen around us. She (Buuti Pedersen, ed.) reflects on how life is not always a tailwind, but also contains resistance, uncertainty and struggle, just as you can sense in her recurring motif with the polar bear, where even movement can be a challenge, it says.
