Today, Thursday, Algeria expressed its sincere expressions of condolences and sympathy to the people of Venezuela and its sincerest wishes for a speedy recovery for the injured, following the two violent earthquakes that struck northern Venezuela, especially the capital, Caracas, causing human losses and significant material damage, according to a statement by the Ministry of Foreign Affairs.
The text of the statement read: “Following the two violent earthquakes that struck northern Venezuela, especially the capital, Caracas, causing human losses and significant material damage, Algeria expresses its sincere expressions of condolences and sympathy to the friendly people of Venezuela, and its sincerest wishes for a speedy recovery for the injured.”
The same source added: “In the face of this painful tragedy, Algeria affirms its support for the friendly Venezuelan people and its solidarity with them in this difficult circumstance. From this standpoint, it expresses its full readiness to contribute to relief and humanitarian assistance efforts in order to deal with this disaster and mitigate its effects.”
