Yesterday afternoon, the fourth of May, the President of the Republic, Kais Saied, received at the Carthage Palace both Mr. Ibrahim Bouderbala, Speaker of the Assembly of Representatives of the People, and Mr. Imad Derbali, President of the National Council of Regions and Regions.

The Head of State stressed, according to a statement by the Presidency of the Republic, at the beginning of the meeting that we all stand on one front to confront various challenges, as the nation unites us even if positions are multiple and approaches differ.

The President of the Republic also reiterated his emphasis that the management of state affairs cannot be based on suspicious blogs or pages or on the promotion of lies and slander. In this context, he pointed to the coincidence of some statements that reflect a state of confusion, helplessness, and bankruptcy among known parties who are still in the clouds of their dreams, betting on a return to the past.
The Head of State concluded by emphasizing that the Tunisian people will not forget and will not accept any step backwards, but rather look forward to building their future themselves through their constitutional institutions that they voluntarily approved through the referendum.
