Yesterday afternoon, the fourth of May, the President of the Republic, Kais Saied, received at the Carthage Palace the Prime Minister, Mrs. Sarah Zaafarani El-Zanzri, and the Minister of Equipment and Housing, Salah Al-Zouari, who is in charge of running the Ministry of Industry, Mines and Energy.
This meeting, according to a statement from the Presidency of the Republic, discussed a number of topics related to infrastructure development and ways to accelerate the completion of stalled or slow-moving projects.
In this context, the President of the Republic stressed the necessity of preparing new legal texts to regulate public transactions, based mainly on simplifying administrative procedures and reducing the complexities that often hinder the implementation of projects or delay their launch.
He also stressed the importance of establishing an effective control system that ensures proper management of public funds, while devoting the principle of accountability and holding responsibility to all those involved in the various stages of project completion.
