Tunisia confirms further progress in its industrial attractiveness strategy with the official signing of a land acquisition contract between Novation City and Taikang Electronics Tunisia, marking the establishment of the Chinese group in Tunisia.
The ceremony was held Monday, May 4 at the headquarters of the Tunisia Investment Authority (TIA), in the presence of several players in the investment ecosystem, notably the Tunisian Automotive Association (TAA) and FIPA Tunisia.
This signature constitutes a decisive step in the realization of Taikang Electronics’ industrial project in Tunisia. It confirms both the rise of Chinese investments in the country and the confidence of international investors in the Tunisian ecosystem.
The project is now entering the operational phase, paving the way for the start of works and the installation of industrial activities on site in the next stages.
Part of a dynamic of reinforced Sino-Tunisian cooperation, this establishment should generate significant economic benefits, particularly in terms of job creation, skills transfer and increased integration of Tunisia into global value chains.
According to the authorities, the success of this project is the result of close coordination work and structured support provided by the TIA, in synergy with Novation City.
This new project illustrates Tunisia’s ability to attract structuring industrial investments and transform economic opportunities into high-impact projects.
Prior to the signing, the investor was received at the headquarters of the Ministry of Economy and Planning by Samir Abdelhafidh, Minister of Economy and Planning.
