As BILD writes, Rolls-Royce has experience in building nuclear reactors and power plants for nuclear submarines. CEZ plans to build up to six mini-reactors by 2050 in areas where coal-fired power plants still operate today.
It is noted that the Minister of Industry and Trade of the Czech Republic Karel Havlicek, after a meeting with the British Minister of Economy Peter Kyle in Prague, announced his intention to jointly enter the European market. This could open the way to the construction of mini-nuclear power plants in other places.
It was previously reported that the EU plans invest in small nuclear power plants.
