Al-Shahid Al-Hafiz, June 15, 2026 (SPS) – The Minister of Water and Environment, Mr. Ahmed Bishr Ami Ammar, embarked on a working and inspection visit to the state of Awsard.
The Minister and his central staff were received by the state governor, member of the National Secretariat, Mrs. Khaira Balahi Abad, where the visit program began by listening to a comprehensive presentation on the state of the water sector in the state, and the prospects for improving the public water service and ensuring its regular access to the citizen, especially in the summer.
The Minister of Water and Environment led a field visit to the income points that supply departments and municipalities with water. They visited each distribution point with the participation of a technical team. They examined the effectiveness of the pipes transporting water and took into account their condition in terms of maintenance, in addition to a visit to the water tanks that supply the state with significant quantities of water.
The Minister stressed the necessity of constant accompaniment in order to ensure the citizen’s continuous supply of water, especially in the summer. (Was)
