Fired Endowments Directorate Ismailia events Educational programme for children in the governorate’s mosques, under the auspices of His Eminence Sheikh Abdul Khaleq Muhammad Ateefi, Director of the Ismailia Endowments Directorate, within the framework of the plan implemented by the Ministry of Endowments within Summer programme For children in all regional directorates during the summer vacation period.
Building a young person’s personality
The program comes from the Ministry of Endowments’ keenness to build the character of young people, develop their intellectual and cultural capabilities, and enhance the educational and advocacy role of mosques, by providing integrated content that combines religious, scientific, and moral education, which contributes to preparing a generation that is aware and adheres to positive values and behaviors.
The main themes of the program
The program includes four main axes, including the scientific aspect through studying the interpretation from Surat Al-Duha to Surat Al-Nas from the book “Interpretation of the Words of the Holy Qur’an” by Sheikh Hassanein Makhlouf, may God have mercy on him, in addition to memorizing “the text of the Forty An-Nawawi” with a simplified explanation appropriate to the different age stages of children.
The program also focuses on the linguistic aspect by developing reading, writing, and spelling skills, as well as the moral and behavioral aspect by consolidating the correct values and concepts within the framework of the “Correct Your Concepts” initiative. The program also includes an entertainment aspect that includes organizing educational and recreational trips to visit religious shrines and national and tourist landmarks.
The program aims to discover and nurture distinguished talents in a number of fields, including memorizing the Holy Qur’an, the Forty Nawawi, interpretation, the Arabic language, religious chanting, public speaking, poetry, Arabic calligraphy, and general culture, in preparation for supporting their owners and developing their capabilities.
Preliminary qualifiers for the competition
The Ismailia Endowments Directorate explained that the preliminary qualifiers for the competition will be held during the month of August 2026 at the level of the regional directorates, while the central final qualifiers will be held during next September in the presence of Dr. Osama Al-Azhari, Minister of Endowments, where the winning and distinguished talents will be honored at the republic level.
The program reflects the Ministry of Endowments’ interest in investing in children’s energies and developing their scientific, cultural and religious skills, which contributes to preparing a generation capable of positive participation in building society and consolidating the values of belonging and national awareness.
