The Iranian Foreign Minister confirmed Abbas Araghji Iranian forces continue to carry out what he described as “defensive strikes” against sites that are used – in his words – to support operations targeting civilian ships and violating ceasefire arrangements.
Araqchi stressed that Tehran will deal with any hostile move against it with an immediate and decisive response, stressing that his country will not be lax in protecting its interests and national security.

The Iranian Foreign Minister added that pressures, sanctions and previous wars did not succeed in achieving their goals towards Iran, considering that resorting to further military escalation will not change reality or achieve different results.
Araghchi’s statements come at a time when the region is witnessing escalating tensions and mutual military movements, amid continuing diplomatic efforts aimed at stabilizing the calm and preventing the situation from sliding into a broader confrontation.
