Killing the gang leader Tren de Araguathe largest criminal organization in Venezuela and one of the most powerful in Latin America, the president of the United States announced today Donald Trump.
As Trump said in a post on the Truth Social platform, the headquarters of the US armed forces responsible for Latin America and the Caribbean (US Southern Command or SOUTHCOM) launched an airstrike to exterminate “Nino Guerrero, the infamous leader of Tren de Aragua, one of the most bloodthirsty terrorist organizations on planet Earth».
Tren de Aragua originally formed in Venezuela and extended the action of in other Latin American states – especially in Colombiain Peru and in Chile. The gang, which has been labeled “terrorist organization” by the Trump administration, accused among other things of human trafficking, kidnappings, rapes, drug trafficking and murders.
The military operation, Trump pointed out, “closely coordinated with our friends in Venezuela, with whom we work very well. As a result, Tren de Aragua terrorists no longer have a safe haven in Venezuela or anywhere else».
“We will find these hardened killers and drug lords anywhere, anytime, and send them to the depths of hell where they belong“, the US president promised.
