Rains and storms locally strong winds are expected in many areas of the country in the next few hours, while a gradual improvement is expected from Sunday.
Specifically
- in her area Halkidiki and possibly her eastern Macedonia until the early hours of the morning,
- on Sporades and her Euboea until the midday hours,
- probably in Thrace and in its islands northeastern Aegean (mainly Limnos area) until the morning hours.
In the eastern mainland, Evia, the Sporades and the islands of the northern Aegean clouds with rains and sporadic storms. The effects will be strong in places.
In the rest of the areas few clouds, temporarily increased until late afternoon in the Eastern Aegean islands and in the mid-afternoon hours in the mainland and Crete, when local rains or showers will occur.
Winds will blow from northern directions 4 to 6 and locally on the seas up to 7 Beaufort.
The temperature will mark slight dip in the east and will reach most areas of their country 25 to 28 degrees and locally to their west and south 29 to 30 degrees Celsius.
Macedonia, Thrace
Weather: In Halkidiki, eastern Macedonia and Thrace increased clouds with rain and sporadic storms, strong in places until the early hours in Halkidiki and possibly in eastern Macedonia and Thrace.
Almost clear weather in the rest of the regions.
In the mid-afternoon hours, clouds will develop again in central and eastern Macedonia, so there will be local rains or showers mainly in the mountains.
Winds: From northern directions 3 to 5 Beaufort with weakening from the afternoon.
Temperature: From 17 to 27 degrees Celsius. In western Macedonia 2 to 3 degrees lower.
Ionian Islands, Epirus, Western Sterea, Western Peloponnese
Weather: In the western Peloponnese a few clouds from midday temporarily increased with local rains or showers and possibly isolated storms in the midday-afternoon, mainly in the mountains. In the rest of the areas, generally sunny with local clouds in the midday – afternoon hours, mainly in the continental highlands.
Winds: From northern directions 3 to 5, in the Ionian to 6 and from noon to the northern local 7 Beaufort.
Temperature: From 17 to 29, locally to continental 30 degrees Celsius. In the interior of Epirus 3 to 4 degrees lower.
Thessaly, Eastern Sterea, Evia, Eastern Peloponnese
Weather: In the Sporades and Evia, clouds with rain and storms until the early afternoon, strong in some places until the midday hours.
In the rest of the areas few clouds temporarily increased with local rains or showers. Isolated storms will occur mainly in the morning hours in eastern Thessaly and eastern Sterea and possibly in the mid-afternoon in the eastern Peloponnese. The phenomena from the early afternoon in most areas will stop, but in the eastern Peloponnese they will be maintained until late at night.
Winds: From northern directions 3 to 5, in eastern parts locally up to 6 Beaufort with weakening from late afternoon.
Temperature: From 17 to 27 to 28, locally to continental 29 degrees Celsius.
Cyclades, Crete
Weather: In Crete, clouds temporarily increased with local rains and possibly isolated storms in the midday – afternoon hours, mainly in the mountains. In the Cyclades, a few clouds temporarily increased until noon in the northern parts with local rains of short duration.
Winds: From northern addresses 3 to 5, in the Cyclades to 6, locally in the east 7 Beaufort.
Temperature: From 21 to 26 to 27, locally in Crete up to 28 degrees Celsius.
Eastern Aegean Islands, Dodecanese
Weather: In the islands of the Eastern Aegean, increased clouds with local rains and isolated storms until the late afternoon. In the north (mainly Lemnos area) until the morning hours the effects will probably be strong in places.
In the Dodecanese it is generally sunny.
Winds: In the north from north directions 4 to 6, locally 7 Beaufort. In the south west northwest 3 to 5 and from the afternoon to 6 Beaufort.
Temperature: From 20 to 28, locally in the south to 29 to 30 degrees Celsius.
Attica
Weather: A few clouds temporarily increased until the afternoon with local rain and possible until midday isolated storms, mainly in the east and north.
Winds: From northern addresses 3 to 5 and locally in the east to 6 Beaufort.
Temperature: From 20 to 27 to 28 degrees Celsius.
Thessaloniki
Weather: A few clouds temporarily increased in the midday – afternoon hours with the possibility of local rain in the surrounding mountains.
Winds: North northwesters 3 to 5 Beaufort.
Temperature: From 19 to 27 to 28 degrees Celsius.

In the Peloponnese, a few clouds temporarily increased with local rains or showers in the afternoon – afternoon. In the rest of the regions, generally clear weather with a few clouds temporarily increased in the mid-afternoon hours in the eastern mainland and Crete.
Winds will blow in the west variable 2 to 4 and in the east north northwest 3 to 5, in the Aegean locally up to 6 Beaufort.
The temperature will rise slightly in the west and north and will reach 27 to 29 degrees in most parts of the country and locally 30 to 32 degrees Celsius in the mainland.
