From June 21 to July 13, a summer internship was organized for students of the Institute of Telecommunications and Informatics of Turkmenistan at the Technical University of Cluj-Napoca in Romania.
The internship is being conducted in accordance with an inter-university agreement, reports Turkmenistan: Golden Age.
The delegation includes the best senior students, who have passed a rigorous selection process based on academic achievement, foreign language proficiency, and the presence of their own software developments, as well as experienced ITIT faculty and curators.
The Technical University of Cluj-Napoca boasts one of the most modern research facilities in the region. Turkmen students have access to specialized centers equipped with the latest server, network, and robotics equipment.
Students actively explore intelligent data processing devices, learn to conduct comprehensive diagnostics of telecommunications systems, and test software for vulnerabilities.
A unique feature of the internship is students’ direct access to the production facilities of global technology giants with offices and factories in Romania: Bosch (branches in Zalău and Jucu), Emerson, and Tenaris.
During official meetings with Romanian academic leaders, Turkmen students and faculty regularly give presentations on Turkmenistan’s current economic and educational potential.
