Trump: We reached an agreement with Iran… and the signing will take place within days in Europe, and Hormuz will open immediately – Saudi News

US President Donald Trump announced reaching understandings that he described as “very strong” with Iran, stressing that the two sides are on the verge of signing a final agreement to end the war and open a new page of regional understandings.

Trump said that the memorandum of understanding has become almost complete, and that the negotiations have entered the final touches stage in preparation for the official signing expected during the weekend in a European country, noting that his deputy, J.D. Vance, will represent the United States at the signing ceremony.

Final understandings to end the war

Trump explained that Washington and Tehran had reached a “detailed and very strong” memorandum of understanding, pointing out that the Iranian leader had approved the agreement, and that the two sides were close to concluding a comprehensive settlement that would end the military confrontation.

He added that the United States had extensive contacts with leaders of Middle Eastern countries, including the Emir of Qatar, Sheikh Tamim bin Hamad Al Thani, as part of efforts aimed at consolidating the agreement and supporting regional stability.

    Iran has no nuclear weapons

The US President stressed that the agreement includes an Iranian commitment not to possess or develop any nuclear weapon in the future, stressing that Tehran clearly agreed to this condition.

He said: “Iran will not possess nuclear weapons in any form, and will not buy or develop a nuclear weapon,” adding that removing enriched materials, dismantling the infrastructure related to enrichment, and limiting missile production are among the items presented in the ongoing understandings.

“Military victory” and a stronger agreement

Trump considered that the recent US strikes on Iran contributed to pushing the negotiations to their final stages, saying that Washington had “victoryed militarily” and that the operation had achieved its goals.

He stressed that the upcoming agreement would be more effective and sustainable than the military option, adding that the Iranians now have an opportunity to rebuild their country after what he described as the great devastation caused by the war.

Opening of the Strait of Hormuz

Trump revealed that the Strait of Hormuz will be officially opened immediately after signing the agreement, explaining that the United States has worked during the recent period to ensure the continued flow of oil and international shipping traffic through the Strait.

He pointed out that a large number of ships and millions of oil barrels had secured their passage during the period of tension, stressing that the return of normal navigation would be one of the direct results of the agreement.

    Netanyahu is off the memo

In the same context, the Israeli Prime Minister’s Office clarified that Israel is not a party to the memorandum of understanding being prepared with Iran, but it confirmed the existence of coordination and communications between the American President and Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu regarding the course of the negotiations.

The Bureau confirmed that Netanyahu expressed his appreciation for the US administration’s commitment to Israel’s security, while Washington continues its efforts to reach a final agreement that puts an end to the military escalation in the region.

US President Donald Trump announced that strong agreements have been reached with Iran, asserting that both sides are on the verge of signing a final agreement to end the war and open a new chapter of regional understandings.

Trump stated that the memorandum of understanding is nearly complete, and that negotiations have entered the final touches in preparation for the expected official signing during the weekend in a European country, indicating that his Vice President, JD Vance, will represent the United States at the signing ceremony.

Final Agreements to End the War

Trump explained that Washington and Tehran have reached a “detailed and very strong” memorandum of understanding, noting that the Iranian leader has agreed to the deal, and that both sides are close to reaching a comprehensive settlement that ends the military confrontation.

He added that the United States has conducted extensive communications with leaders of Middle Eastern countries, including the Emir of Qatar, Sheikh Tamim bin Hamad Al Thani, as part of efforts to solidify the agreement and support regional stability.

    No Nuclear Weapons for Iran

The US President emphasized that the agreement includes an Iranian commitment not to possess or develop any nuclear weapons in the future, confirming that Tehran has clearly agreed to this condition.

He stated: “Iran will not possess nuclear weapons in any form, nor will it buy or develop nuclear weapons,” adding that the removal of enriched materials, dismantling of infrastructure related to enrichment, and limiting missile production are among the items being discussed in the current negotiations.

“Military Victory” and a Stronger Agreement

Trump considered that the recent US strikes on Iran contributed to pushing the negotiations to their final stages, saying that Washington has “militarily triumphed” and that the operation achieved its objectives.

He affirmed that the upcoming agreement will be more effective and sustainable than the military option, adding that the Iranians now have the destruction of their country after what he described as the significant left by the war.

    Opening the Strait of Hormuz

Trump revealed that the Strait of Hormuz will be officially opened as soon as the agreement is signed, explaining that the United States has worked in recent times to ensure the continued flow of oil and international shipping through the Strait.

He noted that a large number of ships and millions of barrels of oil were secured for passage during the period of tension, affirming that the return to normal navigation will be one of the direct results of the agreement.

    Netanyahu Out of the Memorandum

In this context, the office of the Israeli Prime Minister clarified that Israel is not a party to the memorandum of understanding being prepared with Iran, but confirmed that there is coordination and communication between the US President and Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu regarding the course of the negotiations.

The office affirmed that Netanyahu expressed his appreciation for the US administration’s commitment to Israel’s security, while Washington continues its efforts to reach a final agreement that puts an end to military escalation in the region.
