US President Donald Trump said Monday night that obtaining uranium from Iran would be a “long” and “difficult” process following last year’s US attacks on Tehran’s nuclear sites.
“Operation Midnight Hammer was a complete and total annihilation of the Nuclear Dust sites in Iran“, wrote donald trump on his Truth Social platform, and added: “Therefore, removing it will be a long and difficult process.”.
The American president frequently uses the term “nuclear dust” to refer to Iran’s stockpile of enriched uranium, which the United States accuses Iran of accumulating in order to make an atomic bomb.
But sometimes, he also uses it to refer to the material that the United States left against Iran’s nuclear facilities last June.
The 79-year-old American leader assures that the Iran’s reserves of enriched uranium will end up being transferred to US territoryeven though Iran’s Foreign Ministry has denied these plans.

The United States and Israel launched joint attacks against Iran on February 28 to eliminate what Israel describes as the “existential threat” which involves the nuclear program of the Islamic Republic.
Israeli officials say Tehran has stepped up efforts to acquire an atomic weapon since the end of the 12-day war last June, started by Israel and which included US bombings against three nuclear facilities, including an enrichment plant.
