The events occurred in the afternoon, specifically around 1:45 pm, when the tranquility of the residential area was interrupted by the sound of detonations produced by firearm projectiles. Given the noise, the inhabitants of the sector contacted the emergency line to alert the public force about the situation of violence that was developing on public roads.
Upon arriving at the scene of the emergency, the uniformed National Police found a 54-year-old citizen with serious injuries to his body.

Upon arriving at the care area, at the scene of the incident, they found an injured person, who was taken to the hospital, where he later died,” the uniformed officer explained in a first official communication.
To advance the collection of technical and testimonial evidence, officer Montilla explained that “the National Police established an investigative bubble in order to clarify this fact.”
