Heavy rains are expected in places on April 23 in the Khatlon and Sughd regions, as well as in areas of republican subordination, including Dushanbe: the rain will begin in the capital tomorrow and will last for two days.
Local mudflows are expected in the foothills and mountains of the regions of republican subordination, in certain areas of the Khatlon region, the foothills and mountains of the Sughd region, as well as in places in the west of GBAO.
It is worth noting that April in Tajikistan was forecast to be relatively warm with temperatures in some places above normal. However, the weather has been unsettled since the beginning of the month, with rain, thunderstorms, fog and hail throughout the country, as well as occasional strong winds.
