The Dushanbe schoolboy who saved a drowning girl received another award – from the administration of the Firdavsi district

In Dushanbe, the hukumat of the Firdavsi district awarded Rakhmatullo Mardiktoev, a 10th grade student of secondary school No. 40 in Dushanbe, with memorable gifts, a letter of gratitude and a monetary reward for bravery and bravery.

It is noted that Mardiktoev showed real heroismsaving a young girl from a suicide attempt. His act became an example for other teenagers and young people and evidence of the high level of upbringing and education of the young man.

The authorities also expressed gratitude to Mardiktoev’s mother and teachers for the decent upbringing of the young man.

Recently a schoolboy received a letter of gratitude and 3000 somoni from the Ministry of Internal Affairs for the city of Dushanbe. In addition, he was promised assistance in free education at the Academy of the Ministry of Internal Affairs of Tajikistan. The capital’s police noted that his action became an example for young people.

Let us recall that on April 19, Rakhmatullo Mardiktoev noticed a girl drowning in the Dushanbinka River. The teenager rushed into the water, pulled her ashore and helped take her to the hospital. The girl survived; authorities explained the suicide attempt as a “family conflict.”

Rakhmatullo’s mother earlier told Asia-Plus that she raised her son herself and is proud that he has now become brave and purposeful. She added that she lived with her son and daughter in her brother’s house.

“My son didn’t tell us that night that he saved a girl from drowning and that the authorities were inviting us. On the morning of April 20, they called from the Department of the Ministry of Internal Affairs of the city of Dushanbe and asked for my son. He left for school. At first I thought that I raised him wrong, since the matter came to the police. Then, when I heard about his heroism, I felt proud both for myself and for the son I raised,” said Gulnora.

According to the woman, Rakhmatullo worked at a car repair station after school and in his free time and helped her run the house. The guy’s mother worked at a garment factory; she was glad that her son was already growing up and taking some of the worries off her shoulders.

    “

“Rakhmatullo once said: “Mom, I will do everything possible to take full responsibility for life. Someday I will repay your efforts, because you were both father and mother to me.” There were times when I did not find bread to feed the children, there were times when they did not have school clothes or shoes. But my son, when he was able, earned money himself and bought his own shoes. Today I am proud of the child I raised,” she said happily.
