The President of the Republic, Abdelmadjid Tebboune, sent a message of condolence following the death of the mujahid and scholar Si Hajj Mohand Al-Tayeb, who is considered one of Algeria’s figures and a translator of the meanings of the Holy Qur’an into the Amazigh language, according to a statement by the Presidency of the Republic.
The message stated, “With great sadness and grief, and with hearts that believe in God’s will and destiny, I received the news of the death of the late Sheikh Si Haj Muhand al-Tayeb, may God have mercy on him and may he rest in peace, the Mujahid and one of Algeria’s loyal figures and translator of the meanings of the Holy Qur’an into the Amazigh language.”
President Tebboune also offered his deepest condolences and sincere feelings of sympathy to the family of the deceased and the revolutionary family, asking God Almighty to cover him with His vast mercy and forgiveness, to dwell him in His spacious gardens, and to inspire his family and relatives with patience and solace.
