Today, Monday, based on permission issued by the Public Prosecutor at the Guelma Court, the Regional Group of the National Gendarmerie in Skikda issued an appeal to the public regarding two persons suspected in several cases related to fraud and deception using information and communication technologies.
The appeal explained that the matter concerns two people who appeared in the attached photos, suspected of involvement in crimes related to fraud, fraud, stealing others’ money, and illegal entry into automated data processing systems, while making changes to electronic data and information.
The charges mentioned in the appeal also include participating in acts that affect automated data processing systems, impersonating legally specified qualities, including that of an employee at the Algeria Postal Corporation, in addition to processing data of a personal nature without a license or legal approval.
The leadership of the Regional Group of the National Gendarmerie in Skikda called on every person who had fallen victim to these two suspects or dealt with them, to come forward to the Search and Investigation Service of the National Gendarmerie in Skikda to register a complaint or to give testimony within the framework of the ongoing investigation.
