This visit comes to check on the latest developments in the work of the station, which is one of the basic pillars of the drinking water and sanitation system being implemented to serve more than 35 thousand people from the center and city of Burj Al Arab and its affiliated hamlets, in order to ensure the decent quality of life that citizens deserve.
The station’s ground tank has a capacity of 3000 m
During the visit, the governor listened to a detailed explanation from officials of the Alexandria Drinking Water Company about the components of the project. He inspected the station’s ground tank with a capacity of 3,000 m2 and the pure pump house, which includes 5 horizontal pumps, in addition to the transformer room, electrical panels, and the backup diesel generator. He also inspected the new administrative building, consisting of three residential and administrative floors, to ensure proper workflow and operation.

The governor stressed that this vital project represents a qualitative leap for the residents of the center and city of Borg al-Arab and a number of major hamlets such as: (Naga Hassanein, Naga al-Jazzar, Naga Younis, Sadat Road, the new central prison, and others), noting that the station is designed to serve future expansions to accommodate up to 100,000 people by the year 2050, which reflects the future vision of the state to ensure the sustainability of basic services.
At the end of the tour, the governor thanked those in charge of the work for their efforts in completing this important edifice.
This came in the presence of Dr. Mahmoud Issa, Assistant Secretary General of the Governorate, Engineer Mr. Hassan Rayan, Head of the Drinking Water Company, some representatives of Parliament, and Engineer Noha Khalifa, Head of Burj Al Arab Center and City.
