Today, Monday, the Minister of Youth, Dr. Raed Sami Al-Adwan, accompanied by the Director of the City of Amman, Engineer Nabil Al-Jariri, inspected the readiness of the sites for broadcasting the national football team’s matches in the Roman Coliseum in the center of the capital, in preparation for receiving fans to watch the Al-Nashama matches in the World Cup finals.
During the tour, Al-Adwan was briefed on the technical and logistical arrangements at the broadcast sites, which include the Roman Amphitheater, the Odeon Theater, the Hashemite Square, and the side square, stressing the importance of completing all preparations to ensure the provision of a distinctive and safe experience for the fans.
He stressed the need to enhance technical and service readiness, and ensure the smooth and organized movement of fans, which contributes to providing an appropriate environment for watching matches in a national atmosphere that reflects the amount of popular support for the national team.
Al-Adwan listened to a briefing from the technical and organizational teams about the equipment implemented at the broadcast sites, crowd management mechanisms and services provided to the public.
The broadcast sites include spaces designated for hospitality services and others for families, in addition to sites prepared to receive representatives of local and international media, ensuring the provision of the necessary services to the public and media professionals alike.
The live broadcast activities of the matches are organized in cooperation between the Ministry of Youth, the Greater Amman Municipality, and a number of partner entities, as part of the national efforts aimed at enabling Jordanian fans to follow the national team’s matches and support it during its historic first participation in the World Cup finals.
