The Municipality of Al-Kafarat in the Beni Kenana District of Barbad is close to completing the digital transformation project for structural plans after about a year of continuous work, in preparation for the launch of a new electronic service that allows citizens to obtain the site plan and demarcation electronically without the need for traditional reviews.
In this context, the Chairman of the Al-Kfarat Municipality Committee, Sheikh Jamal Al-Batayneh, confirmed that the project translates national trends in the field of digital transformation, and the Al-Kfarat Municipality is close to completing the project “Reversing paper structural plans and converting them into comprehensive electronic plans” for all areas of the municipality, after nearly a full year of continuous effort and hard work by its technical and administrative staff.
Al-Batayneh pointed out that the project is about to enter its final stages, in preparation for the launch of the service for obtaining the “site plan and demarcation” electronically during the coming period, allowing citizens to complete their transactions flexibly and quickly, saving them the trouble of repeated traditional reviews, and reducing time, effort and financial cost.
Al-Batayneh added that this vital project represents an essential step within a comprehensive strategic vision adopted by the municipality to develop the service system and institutional performance, explaining that the primary goal is to employ modern technology to simplify procedures, preserve data, and enhance its accuracy, leading to a modern municipality capable of responding to citizens’ aspirations and growing needs.
For its part, the technical report issued by the Municipality’s Computerization Committee indicated that the specialized cadres made intense efforts over the past months to complete the digitization process according to the highest standards of accuracy and reliability, as huge quantities of old paper plans and data were converted into an integrated, updateable electronic system that ensures ease of retrieving information and utilizing it in future planning for the region.
Al-Bataineh stressed the commitment of the Al-Kafarat Municipality to continue modernizing its digital infrastructure and developing its electronic services, stressing that the project to digitize structural plans is not the end of the story, but rather a link in a series of ongoing development projects in which the municipality is taking serious steps to enhance the efficiency of performance and the quality of services provided to the people of the local community, devoting the slogan of this stage: “Together towards a more efficient and distinguished digital municipality.”
