In order to ensure the circulation of food in accordance with the approved health requirements related to the distribution, transportation and storage of food supplies, the General Food and Drug Administration stressed the necessity of committing not to provide or distribute any food supplies as a donation by any party, including charitable societies, except after obtaining prior approval from the Foundation in accordance with the rules.
The Foundation noted that it is following up on compliance with these requirements, under penalty of taking the necessary measures and in cooperation with the Ministry of Social Development, the General Union of Charitable Societies, and various concerned authorities.
