The former Minister of Agriculture Florin Barbu claims that the agreement between the Social Democratic Party and the Alliance for the Union of Romanians is strictly aimed at submitting a motion of censure against the Government led by Ilia Bolojanrejecting the idea of a future governing alliance and announcing that he would vote for the move.
Florin Barbu was asked, after the announcement that P.S.D and GOLD will submit a joint motion of censure against the Bolojan Government, in relation to the fact that a few months ago it rejected a scenario in which P.S.D to sit at the same table as AUR and what has changed in the meantime.
“It’s about a motion. We’re not talking about forming a government with AUR. It’s about a motion of censure. And if this decision is made in the Social Democratic Party and it goes on a common thing on this motion, I have no problem, I will vote for this motion”, said Florin Barbu.
He added that at this moment “any Romanian who voted a party political must be protected. And this is what the Social Democratic Party does, it protects the Romanians”.
PSD and AUR decided to submit a joint motion of censure against the Ilie Bolojan Government. Petrișor Peiu (AUR) and Marian Neacșu (PSD) declared on Monday that until this moment, “absolutely nothing” has been discussed about a future government, specifying that, “as far as they know”, neither their leaders have taken any steps in this regard.
