The Bock casemates receive an official seal of quality. Tripadvisor has named Luxembourg’s most famous hole-in-the-mountain experience with the “Travelers’ Choice Award 2026” – making it a highlight among the top ten percent of attractions worldwide. The Luxembourg City Tourist Office announced this in a press release.
More than 200,000 visitors a year voluntarily crawl into the underground passages beneath the Bockfelsen, climb back into the daylight and then leave enthusiastic reviews. It is precisely these reviews that make the award what it is: a reliable reflection of real visiting experiences. Or to put it another way: Anyone who climbs into a hole and comes out radiant has obviously done everything right.
The Luxembourg City Tourist Office is pleased. The old town too. And the rock? He is silent, as befits a UNESCO World Heritage site. And it continues to leave tourists scrambling with “Ahs” and “Ohs”.
