The prosecutor’s office of Syunik region, within the framework of the authority to protect state (community) interests, studied the documents regarding the allocation of plots of land in the area of ”Mayisi 28″ park in Sisian city of Sisian community of Syunik region to different persons.
As a result of the study, it was found that the 0.08 ha plot of land in the area of ”Mayisi 28″ park of Sisian city was allocated to a natural person with the right of development, in violation of the requirements of the law.
The prosecutor addressed a petition to the head of the Sisian community to take measures to terminate the development right signed between the Sisian community and the developer on April 30, 2011.
On the basis of the petition, as a result of the measures taken by the competent authorities of the Sisian municipality, on June 19, 2026, the Cadastre Committee suspended the right of construction registered to the plot of land with an area of 0.08 ha and a cadastral value of 1 million 502 thousand drams, located in the “28 May” park of the Sisian community.
The land was returned to the Sisian community.
