Yesterday, His Majesty Sultan Haitham bin Tariq, Sultan of Oman, received His Excellency Sheikh Mohammed bin Abdulrahman bin Jassim Al Thani, Prime Minister and Minister of Foreign Affairs.
At the beginning of the meeting, His Excellency the Prime Minister and Minister of Foreign Affairs conveyed the greetings of His Highness Sheikh Tamim bin Hamad Al Thani, the Emir of the country, to His Majesty the Sultan of Oman, and His Highness’s wishes to His Majesty good health and happiness, and to the brotherly Omani people continued progress and prosperity.

The latest regional developments were also discussed, especially the diplomatic efforts made to enhance security and stability in the region, after the signing of the memorandum of understanding between the United States of America and the Islamic Republic of Iran.
