In the letter, the Ukrainian president asked Putin to meet in a neutral country to work out the terms of a peace treaty. Zelensky was open to a complete ceasefire during the negotiations and to starting the peace talks with a full exchange of prisoners. In the letter, Zelensky called on Putin to set a clear date for the meeting. According to him, both the United States and Europe should have a role in the negotiations.
Dmitry Peskov, Kremlin spokesman, responded to the Ukrainian president’s open letter. According to Peskov, Zelensky can travel to Moscow at any time if he wants to meet the Russian head of state, reports MTI.
