Although the proposal came as a surprise, the couple had long agreed that they should marry. Petra had mentioned in an earlier conversation that a wedding in Qooqqut would be fantastic, and as they sailed away from the bay, Jacob said, “That’s where we’re going to get married.” Her answer was simple: “Yes.”
