In 2025, the Digital Democracy Development Foundation, which owns the same-named company that organized anti-war rallies that could be interpreted as campaign events before the election, reinforcing the Fidesz narrative, received more than HUF 5.5 billion in revenue in 2025. This is clear from the information called the 2025 transparency report, which the foundation also sent to Telex.
The foundation was registered in August 2025, compared to the end of 2025, i.e. in a few months
It had an income of HUF 5,600,624,000.
In addition, an item of HUF 3 billion 950 million is also included in the report as a grant related to foundation goals. Meanwhile, for example, only HUF 12,845,000 was spent on salary costs between the establishment of the foundation in August 2025 and the end of 2025. We sent questions about the report to the foundation to find out exactly where they got all that income. If they answer, we will update the article.
The company owned by the foundation organized the DPK meetings that formed the backbone of the ultimately very unsuccessful Fidesz election campaign, just as the Digital Civic Circles themselves were launched at the company’s initiative.
First in September 2025, a Papp in László Arena a DPK meeting was held, and then in several other places in the country. Although these were not officially organized by Fidesz, but by the company, they were practically Fidesz campaign events.
