Otto Motzfeldtwhich is behind the charitable Greenland calendar, Greenland – Land of Beauty, for the benefit of children and young people, will next year mark its 10th anniversary with a special edition. He writes this in a Facebook post.
– Greenland – Land of Beauty 2027 will be a GOLD EDITION, where we pay tribute to the charitable photographers who have donated their beautiful photos from all over Greenland. Qujanaq, one of the notices says, among other things.
– Thanks to a lot of fantastic charitable photographers and charitable companies in Greenland, as well as a lot of loyal charitable dealers in Greenland and Denmark, it has been possible to get this far and help make a big difference for children and young people in Greenland, says founder Otto Motzfeldt.

Since the start, the project has, among other things, donated 4,200 footballs to all municipalities. 600 footballs have recently been ordered for the Municipality of Qeqertalik, and it is expected that the balls will arrive later this year. Thus, all municipalities will have received footballs through the project.
In addition, in collaboration with Milik Publishing, children’s and youth books worth DKK 150,000 have been donated, just as DKK 50,450 has previously been given to activities for children and young people in Tasiilaq, including a once in a lifetime experience with sled dog trips with the nature photographer Carsten Egevang.
