A hellishly hot weekend awaits Slovenian cyclists and their fans in Dolenjski. Under the scorching sun, today in Novi Mesto and Karteljevo, they will compete for the title of national champion in the time trial, and on Sunday in Gabrje, they will also compete for the championship shirt on the road. He is the first favorite in both tests Primož Roglič (Red Bull Bora Hansgrohe), which is returning to the domestic championship for the first time since 2020.
That was also the last time we witnessed the big duel for the Slovenian title between the Eagle of Zasava and Tadej Pogačar. Roglič won the road race after the spectacle under Krvavec, and Pogačar won the time trial at Pokljuka.
