Füred Art Week in 2025
Füred Art Week, the liveliest art event of the summer, will take place this year from July 24 to 26. More than twenty top-tier galleries and auction houses will participate in the event on the shores of Lake Balaton; both art collectors and art enthusiasts are expected to attend, turizmus.com reports.
The organizers of “Art and Antique” and “Budapest Contemporary” came up with the idea for this event three years ago to bring the most renowned galleries and auction houses to the capital of the Balaton region during the summer, and to offer a unique, up-to-date glimpse into the current offerings of the art market.

Based on the initial interest, the organizers expect this year’s Füred Art Week to attract more visitors and feature more works of art than ever before.
This year, we are welcoming 22 exhibitors whose offerings include valuable paintings, sculptures for indoor and outdoor use, furniture, jewelry, rugs, watches, and other art objects,”
said lead organizer Ádám Tausz. As he explained, the essence of Füred Art Week is that both the most discerning collectors and art lovers who wish to enjoy a pleasant cultural program or an exhibition will find something to their liking.

Three dealers from the TV2 show Kincsvadászok (TreasureHunters) are also participating in this year’s Füred Art Week, exhibiting their own artwork. In addition, Olympic sailor Benjámin Vadnai will participate as a guest in a panel discussion.
The event takes place not far from the waterfront at the Kongresszusi Központ (convention center) in the city center.
Here, visitors will find treasures for sale ranging from museum-quality artworks worth several million forints to decorative items priced at a few tens of thousands of forints.
Füred Art Week is also preparing a prize draw for visitors, courtesy of BÁV ART. The special grand prize is a finely crafted gold necklace worth more than 200,000 forints (563 euros, 1 euro = 355.21 forints), adorned with a pedant set with a genuine H-color (Wesselton) diamond.
